The Church is dead but GOD is not...

Yesterday, the phorum heretofore known as "The Church" was shut down and put out of its misery once and for all. All signs had been pointing in this direction for some time as spambots were leaving a multitude of inane messages and, in spite of the administrator's best efforts to keep on top of deleting them, they continued to infiltrate and corrupt the church on a regular basis.

Finally, the last straw came two days ago when someone had managed to hack the beloved church and wiped out all but two entries: one from GTB loyalist Jen Rock asking, "Church - what has happened to you?" and the other with the subject "Nice site!" and a plethora of links to purchase viagra online.

The Church, once a beehive of GTB worship and whimsy, has had to shut its doors. But let us take this in stride, knowing that the worship of this band has taken a new form, albeit a familiar one at that: the blog. Check back for regular postings of various performances from their various incarnations as GOD. Expect something new each week! In lieu of a dead church, this has to be an improvement.
